THE BEST SIDE OF BANDSTAND BANDRA

One of several defining traits of Bandra West is its pervasive Portuguese heritage. Bandra was settled because of the Portuguese in 1534 when it had been an easy fishing village, and it remained component in their territory even after the Bombay Islands have been transferred on the British in 1661. In the course of their occupation of the area, the
